Studios completely go with their name. When a director approaches Mr.Sashikanth with a different script, all that he says is, Why Not? ‘Aravaan’ fame Vasanthabalan and Sashikanth have come up with one such film, Kaaviya Thalaivan, and they are now all set to release the movie.
Thanks to the genius of A.R.Rahman, all the songs from the album are a cult already. Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika and veteran Nasser have played pivotal roles in this period flick based on the life of theater artistes, made on a whopping budget.
Good news from the production team is, Kaaviya Thalaivan is likely to have a November 7th release, when the Deepavali wave would have settled. Having made all the right noises, this will be an ideal time for the ambitious product to test the waters.
